So one of the things I've been slightly concerned about ever since moving to San Francisco has been earthquakes. I mean, I know it's totally outside my control, but I've still got this unease about the unknown. I'm sure that once I live through one it'll be no big deal, and we'll just learn to live with earthquakes, like we lived with snow on the east coast or people in the midwest live with tornadoes.
Well, Allison can stop worrying. She's back in Virginia this week, and she experienced her first earthquake not in San Francisco, California, but in Annandale, Virginia. The earthquake was pretty minor, but the irony is incredible.
