What will Andy be doing?

So what exactly will Andy be doing at Google? The short answer is that I don't know for sure yet.

The long answer is that I accepted an offer for a software engineering position. I'll find out exactly what project I'll be working on when I get out there. They sent me a preference sheet with 20 different possibilities. I responded that these are the top five areas I'm interested in:

1. Web Applications (e.g. Google Groups, Gmail, Docs)

2. Java Applications & Design Patterns

3. Web Application Infrastructure/backend

4. Web Tools and Utilities

5. Large Scale Distributed Systems
